Sales Operations Analyst
Basingstoke, RG24 (Remote)
Contract: Temporary - until 31/04/2027
Hours: 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday - 09:00 to 17:30 (flexible)
Pay rate: £28 per hour
We're recruiting a Sales Operations Analyst to support commercial excellence and improve sales effectiveness, with a strong focus on day-to-day support, maintenance and optimisation of Sales Operations tools, especially Salesforce.
You'll partner with commercial stakeholders to keep tools running smoothly, troubleshoot issues, improve processes and deliver actionable insights. A key part of the role is using AI to automate routine Sales/Sales Ops tasks, improving efficiency and enabling the sales team to focus on strategic activity. You'll also support and manage user groups (super users/power users) to drive adoption and best practice.
Sales Operations Analyst Shift:
Monday to Friday
09:00 - 17:30 (flexible)
40 hours per week
Sales Operations Analyst Pay Rate:
£28 per hour
Sales Operations Analyst III Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support, maintenance and user communications for Sales Ops tools (especially Salesforce.com)
- Administer and customise Salesforce (configuration, user support, system upkeep, optimisation)
- Troubleshoot issues, implement fixes and drive continuous improvements
- Support and optimise sales processes to improve effectiveness and tool adoption
- Use AI to automate repetitive workflows and improve efficiency
- Manage user communities (including super users/power users), promoting best practice and adoption
- Create/maintain documentation for tools and processes
- Deliver training sessions for different user groups
- Produce executive-level reports and presentations to support leadership decision-making
- Maintain high standards of data accuracy, system integrity and governance
- Support projects and process improvement initiatives across the commercial function
Sales Operations Analyst Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or 5+ years' experience in Sales Ops, Business Analytics or related
- Strong Salesforce.com administration/customisation experience
- Advanced Excel, Power BI, SQL and data visualisation skills
- Proven experience supporting/optimising Sales Ops tools; strong troubleshooting and solution delivery
- Experience using AI to automate routine tasks/workflows
- Strong project management and process improvement capability
- Excellent communication skills (able to explain technical topics to non-technical users)
- Strong stakeholder management; able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Life sciences/healthcare experience preferred
- English required; additional languages beneficial
